More can be done to support those facing end of life care
We are devoted to supporting all who encounter end of life patients
End of Life Specialist Certification
Various end of life professionals have contributed to the curriculum, making the certification a truly unique certification! Learners will be equipped to provide the most holistic support at the end of life, learning from the perspectives of various medical, spiritual and hospice professionals. The program will prepare our students to guide the dying with confidence to support them physically, emotionally and spiritually. We educate on topics ranging from physiological considerations, communication essentials, ritual significance and promoting spiritual care for peaceful transitions.
The educators of Universal Pathways have cared for thousands of End of Life patients and their families. We offer a deeper, more conscious approach than our traditional education provided us and offer support to hospices, families and other care settings. Our curriculum was born from nearly two hundred years of combined professional experience in end of life care. We have come along our own career path realizing that there has to be better, more complete support for every aspect of the dying and bereaved.
The End of Life Specialist Certification facilitates attainable career opportunities and provides the skills that is not part of traditional healthcare education. The elder population is growing, especially with the baby boomers aging. Healthcare facility space is a current concern. The shortage of nurses and doctors will increase the need to have end of life specialists at the bedside. The time for making the difference is now! Invest in your career and be the change that our culture needs!
We provide certification for family members, hospices, hospitals and medical providers that desire skills to better support individuals facing death and dying. Students will be able to support to patients, hospices, families and medical professionals.
